About This Position
Conclave Service Corps members provide essential service duties for the host lodge including tasks such as trash removal, parking, food service and cleanup, and other necessary facilities-related functions. Volunteers typically work in shifts.
Reports to: Host Lodge Conclave Vice Chief
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in meal serving and cleanup duties.
- Regularly monitor trash bins and promptly remove accumulated trash to designated disposal areas.
- Provide assistance as required by the host lodge and conclave leadership including setup, breakdown, and other logistical tasks.
- Monitor restroom and other camp facilities for cleanliness and follow procedures for addressing any issues.
- Assist with parking control as requested.
- Offer friendly and helpful assistance to attendees.
- Engage with conclave attendees in a friendly and professional manner.
- Collaborate with other auction staff and conclave leadership.
- Adhere to the Section G16 code of conduct and the Scout Oath and Law.
- Serve as a positive role model and representative of the section in all interactions.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Host Lodge CVC.
Some members in this position may need to arrive early, work late on Friday, or stay late on Sunday morning. Shift schedules average 1-2 hours at a time and are flexible. Reach out to the host lodge for additional details.
This position requires attendance at the 2025 Section G16 Conclave.
