Kunamokst held our very first Inductions Experience at Camp Mooney, where we gave over 300 hours of service to the camp! 34 of our members trusted our team to teach the new traditions of our Order. They came with an open mind and a great attitude. Some may have been hesitant to begin with but they learned very quickly the importance of the change.
Before we could even put an event like this together, our team had to go through the experience our selves. In June, we sent 12 members to Spokane Washington for the National Inductions Experience. And with the help from Wauna La Mante, we sent 4 more members to their Lodge Inductions Experience.
For our 5 Luminaries who lead our crews through this experience, they had an additional 6 hours of training they had to do before hand, and I am so grateful for their dedication and service.
Finally for our Ceremonialist, they spent hours on perfecting the two brand new ceremonies, including two of them never having done any before hand. They did a phenomenal job in performing and making sure our members understood and have a great experience.
All this to say, our Order is going to thrive with this new change. I am excited for us to show our new members what our Order truly is.
