2025 CYL Recap

This past November, College of Youth Leadership (CYL) was held alongside University of Scouting, bringing together over 140 youth from across Cascade Pacific Council for a full day of fun, growth, and fellowship. This year, the event’s theme was “Leadership: The Final Frontier.” It was focused on strengthening leadership skills through workshops, challenges, and interactive presentations.

Arrowmen from Wauna La-Mon’tay Lodge played a huge role in making the day a success. Twenty youth were in charge of creating engaging presentations and activities that kept participants learning throughout the day. Class topics included resolving conflicts, cooking, team development, communication, and much more. Other youth and adults did important tasks ranging from posting signs and directing participants, to monitoring rooms and helping with cleanup.

Overall, the day was a huge success, and a huge thank you to everyone who staffed, taught at, and attended this year’s CYL, and I hope to see everyone out there again next year.
