What’s up Section G16, Wauna La-Mon’tay Lodge recently hosted their annual Fall Summit! This year’s theme: cinema! It was a great time had by all, with many games and activities, in addition to the 2026 lodge officer elections. Here’s everything that happened that weekend!
Friday night started off strong with fellowship and gathering activities. Coloring pages of scout camps, theatre mask painting, temporary tattoos, charades, and Jeopardy! Chapters were also challenged to create a movie backdrop, and feature it in a short film of their making! It was a fun time to see friends, and a nice introduction to start the event.
Saturday morning started off with the lodge chief elections. The results were close, but ultimately the lodge vote was cast to Vy Tran (congratulations Vy), and the morning commenced with workshops! The lodge was immersed in a variety of activities from public speaking to photography to bead charms. Event planning! Tote bags! Geocaching! And more! It was tons of fun.
Ah yes, it was a good morning indeed, but what about the afternoon? Well, I am glad you asked! The first order of business was to decide the fate of Wauna La-Mon’tay Lodge by electing all the vice chiefs! Congratulations again to everyone who got elected, here is the full lineup for 2026:

After the elections, the games began! Shotgun, archery, and rifle ranges were in full force, as always. Participants challenged their physical strength on the climbing tower, and their mental strength in the escape room. Other games and activities took place, like tetris, cornhole, and giant jenga!
The full day finished off on a high note with a nice program, where we also got to see (and laugh at) the chapter videos that were submitted. The evening ended with a small but meaningful Brotherhood ceremony. All in all, Cinema Summit was a great event to finish off 2025 – thank you to everyone who came and all who staffed!
