2025 Tsisqan Service Weekend Recap

This year, April 25-27, members of Tsisqan Lodge gathered for their annual Service Weekend at Camp Baker. The event was essential to preparing camp for summer camp season, and the service they achieved was phenomenal.

Throughout the late Winter and early Spring, logging teams have been working throughout Camp Baker. The leadership of the camp planted groves of trees years ago as a form of investment, and this year they were ready to be harvested. The money raised in these logging efforts has already helped repair old roads in camp and cut down hazard trees, and will continue to be used to make camp safer by removing widowmakers. However, the downside to the logging was the damage left behind.

Tread marks and fallen limbs scarred the camp, and a lot of work needed to be done to make the camp as beautiful as it was before. Luckily, that’s where Tsisqan’s Service Weekend came into play. Over sixty Arrowmen worked tirelessly to help the camp, achieving more than six hundred hours of service together.

The project list was daunting. The battlefield was endless. But Tsisqan’s members completed all twenty one projects regardless, clearing the entirety of the main camp of debris, fixing numerous trails and campsites, and repairing and adding insulation to four of the staff cabins.

The event was topped off with six members receiving the Brotherhood Honor, and a night of fellowship and friendship to remember. Thank you to everyone who served at Camp Baker for the 2025 Tsisqan Service Weekend!
