2025 Lo La’Qam Geela Spring Fellowship Recap

Lo La’Qam Geela Lodge held a “Tour of Italy” themed spring fellowship this June, bringing together Arrowmen for a weekend of fun, delicious food, and fellowship—Italian style!

The weekend began with a rustic Tuscan-themed crackerbarrel featuring panzanella, caprese, bruschetta, and a full Italian antipasto spread of meats, cheeses, olives, and marinated vegetables. Members caught up over good food and conversation, easing into the weekend with laughter and shared stories.

Saturday started with a Neapolitan breakfast of spinach and mushroom frittata with roasted red potatoes. The morning offered time for creativity and reflection in the lodge’s art studio and gallery space, where members could create, view, and appreciate one another’s work. Later, Arrowmen enjoyed a laid-back morning of board games and fellowship.

Lunch brought a taste of Rome with porchetta panini, grilled portabello for our vegetarians, and rich zuppa di pomodoro. A meaningful service project gave everyone a chance to give back to camp and community, followed by a refreshing gelato bar—an instant favorite.

The afternoon featured more time for board games, in addition to visiting the trading post, exploring Camp McLoughlin, and hanging out with Arrowmen from across the lodge.

Dinner was a true feast from Bologna, featuring tagliatelle al ragù alla Bolognese, spring greens salad, and garlic bread. Dessert included classic tiramisu, panna cotta, and hot chocolate. That evening, the lodge gathered to welcome new members into the Brotherhood Honor.

Sunday wrapped up with a quiet breakfast of Italian pastries and heartfelt goodbyes from a weekend of fun, fellowship, and most importantly… food.
